Overview

These terms of service govern your use of the Remarque online store and any purchase you make from it. The store is operated by Remarque ("we", "us"). By placing an order or using the store, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the store.

Who can buy

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order. You agree to give us accurate and complete information for each order, including names, addresses and contact details.

Personalized products

Remarque gifts are made to order and personalized for a specific household. You are responsible for the personalization details you send, including spelling, names, dates and any address line to engrave, and for having permission to share your client's name and delivery address with us for the purpose of making and delivering the gift. We may decline personalization that is unlawful, offensive or infringes someone else's rights.

Proof approval

We send a proof for your approval before engraving. Engraving starts only after you approve the proof. Please check it carefully. Once you approve it, we engrave the piece exactly as shown. If a finished piece doesn't match the proof you approved, our refund policy explains how we fix it.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars and may change at any time before you place an order. The price that applies is the one shown at checkout when you order. Shipping charges and any applicable taxes are shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is due when you place the order. Discount codes apply only as stated and can't be combined unless we say so.

Product descriptions and images

We try to describe and show our products accurately. Some images are product mockups. Because each piece is made from natural wood, grain and color vary, and your piece won't be identical to any photo.

Orders

We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if a product is unavailable, if there is an error in price or description, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we will refund you in full.

Shipping, refunds and privacy

Our shipping policy, refund policy and privacy policy are part of these terms. Team 10-Pack purchases also follow the terms described on the product page and in the refund policy.

Gifts and your obligations

You are responsible for making sure that giving a Remarque gift complies with any rules that apply to you, including your brokerage's or company's gift policies. Remarque sells gifts at posted prices and does not offer anything in exchange for referrals or business.

Intellectual property

The store, its designs, text, artwork and images belong to Remarque or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse them without our written permission. If you send us artwork, such as a community design, you confirm that you have the right to let us use it to make your order.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Remarque is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the store or our products. Our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law that can't be limited by contract.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page when you place an order applies to that order.
